For first time students, we offer an introductory package of up to eight semi-private lessons for a discounted rate of $30 per lesson. After this phase, we move our students into group lessons which normally range from 3 or 4 students (no more than 6). Group lessons are $25 per 50 minutes for each student. If the student chooses to stay in semi-private lessons then the rate is $35 per hour.
During lessons, students are taught more than just how to ride, like how to care for horses, equipment and to groom and tack. Barn lessons are an integral part of learning more about your chosen sport. These may include horse bathing or feeding, tack cleaning, clipping and mane pulling, how to wrap a horses legs, how to blanket, how to load a horse on a trailer, and many other important horse related subjects. When the weather is inclement, this gives us a great opportunity to learn important things out of the saddle.
Students are required to ride in a minimum of one lesson per week. Lessons may be rescheduled if a 25-hour notice is given. Lessons are held during rain unless otherwise notified by your instructor.
Students are given many opportunities to enjoy their sport and utilize what they have learned outside of lessons, such as horse showing, leasing, or practice riding, trail riding, camps, clinics, and much more.
